Up to Ha Giang with good friends, whiskey and guitars. These photos are using a digital point and shoot although I was mainly shooting film with my Zenit 122 (those to come later). Trouble with having a film camera is once the film's loaded you're stuck with that ISO, and as the weather was erratic I ended up using the Zenit less than i wanted to. Neverthless i had fun with the point and shoot - a wee Canon IXUS - especially the macro feature.
All hail the surly petrol pump attendant in Yen Minh who put 3 bikes in a temporary coma, sterling work!
Introducing 'fun with macro'. Nothing is safe. You hold it down, i'll macro it.
