Some of my photos of Späkaufs (convenience stores) and portraits of their owners have made it into this Munchies article.
The 'Späti' is a Berlin institution under threat from new regulations that would make many unable to open on Sundays (traditionally their most lucrative day), or severely limit what they are able to sell if they do open.
Within the article is a link to a petition you can sign to help stop this new legislation harming these small-businesses citywide.
