In April I visited Bangladesh with a journalist, Sam Loewenberg, to document the country's water and health issues. It was an intense, eye-opening trip. We travelled all over the south of the country, meeting all kinds of people in all kinds of places, hearing their individual stories and how those stories fit together. This is a vague description, I know. But to do justice to those people and places, I'd like to let my images and Sam's stories do the talking.

You can read the first story over at The Lancet. It's free to register and read. More stories will follow in the coming months.

Thank you to Sam for having me along, and also to the European Journalism Centre for providing us with the grant that made the trip possible.
